After the Plenary Session, with the participation of institutional representatives and some presentations taking stock of the current state-of-the-art of fresh produce trade and economy in the region, the Main Conference of the Green Med Forum usually focuses on various specific topics in break-out sessions.

In 2011 in Tunis the three main topics were:

- Quality of production; 

- Fresh produce logistics;

- Investments opportunities in agriculture. 

Each of the three sessions is divided into two stages:

- General presentation followed by two case studies;
- Roundtable open discussions.
